Position Summary

The Nurse supervises the day-to-day nursing activities of the State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) in accordance with company standards and federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Qualifications

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.
Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition
Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
