Group Therapist
Responsible for day-to-day operations in Mental Health Day Treatment Program including assessment of client needs to be addressed in Mental Health Day Treatment Program, group facilitation, and completion of all required documentation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitates group activities in Mental Health Day Treatment Program.
- Provides assessment for admission to Mental Health Day Treatment Program as verified by clinical documentation.
- Participates in all meetings relevant to Allwell and Mental Health Day Treatment as verified by attendance records and observation by the Day Treatment Manager.
- Provides Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment Services to support client’s achievement of treatment goals identified in Mental Health Day Treatment Plan.
- Maintains and submits required paperwork as verified by QI reports, business office reports and as observed by the Day Treatment Manager.
- Must possess good organizational and communication skills.
- Must demonstrate good judgment skills.
- Able to utilize basic problem-solving skills.
- Able to resolve crisis situations in the most clinically effective manner.
- Must possess a valid Ohio driver license with acceptable driving record.
Education/Experience/Licensure:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of Associate's degree in mental health or social work assistant with two years relevant experience.
