Crisis Tech
Responsibilities:
- Provides a supportive and empathic environment for successful resolution of clients’ crisis though crisis intervention counseling and education with program clients.
- Completes discharge planning with residents.
- Ensures the timely completion of all documentation related to providing and billing for services rendered.
- Arranges transportation for clients through family or CPST services. Provides transportation when staffing allows and as needed or as directed by Director or CSU Coordinator.
- Provides coverage for 24/7 Crisis Hotline services.
- Keeps Director/Coordinator informed of potential risk situations and contacts other Allwell professionals as indicated by assessment.
- Participates in group supervision, internal staff meetings, in-services, and external workshops for professional growth and development.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must possess good organizational and communication skills.
- Must demonstrate good judgment skills and utilize basic problem-solving skills.
- Able to resolve crisis situations in the most clinically effective manner.
Education/Experience/Licensure:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
- Must possess a valid Ohio driver license with acceptable driving record.
