About Us
The Headley Inn, has been a historic landmark in Muskingum County, Ohio since the construction of the National Road (America's first federally funded highway) made its way through Zanesville in 1831. Built between 1833 to 1835, the Headley is a beautifully restored, historic sandstone Inn listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Headley Inn is a Located just minutes off of Interstate 70 on the historic National Road. The Headley Inn is one of the very unique places to stay in Zanesville and Muskingum County. We have a single bedroom and a 2 bedroom suite, all with queen sized beds available for your stay. The great room on the first floor is a common area for all guests. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, although not located ensuite. We also provide free Wi-Fi access for all guests as well as Netflix in every room. If you prefer more privacy the Chestnut Cabin is located directly behind the Inn. The cabin was originally built in 1777, but has been updated with all of the amenities of an efficiency cottage. We offer lodging in Zanesville, Ohio with that personal touch as well as beautiful, manicured historic grounds for your wedding, reception or special event.
