Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
The Family Nurse Practitioner for the Primary Care program operates with an independent scope of practice and focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic health conditions in both the Muskingum County and Guernsey County locations. The FNP can diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications for patients, as well as collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed.
Family nurse practitioners focus on preventive care as well as treatment of health conditions ranging from diabetes and high blood pressure to minor injuries and infections. This position would see patients of all ages, from infants to older adults.
Requirements

Graduate degree (Masters) from an accredited nursing program.

Current, active, valid, unrestricted Ohio nursing license

Must have current valid Ohio Driver’s License and be acceptable driving record.

Proven work experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner

Clinical training in family medicine

Minimum of 3 year's experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
