Teen Dating Violence Awareness
Speaker Timothy Boehnlein, Training & Education Director of the Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center in Cleveland will share the story of Johanna Orozco. Johanna was a Cleveland teenager whose former boyfriend shot off half her face with a sawed-off shotgun. Timothy will also address issues on how to recognize if your child is a victim; equip you with teen dating violence facts; help you identify if you are in an abusive relationship; and educate you on the most recent teen dating violence laws.
Thereafter, local experts will be available to answer your questions.
Encouraged to attend are young adults, educators, parents, students in junior high, high school and college.
