How do you make your resume stand out from the rest, in an effective way? What resume trends have changed since the last time you updated your resume or during the pandemic? Learn how to highlight your relevant skills so you stand out to employers. We welcome all Bobcats to attend this session, whether you're at the entry or senior level, thinking of changing careers or going for a promotion, or whether you updated your resume last week or last decade.

Your Career Toolkit: Elevating Your Networking Skills

Networking is a great way to build contacts in your industry or area. But, in a hybrid world, how do you make meaningful connections in person or virtually? Learn about how to build professional relationships virtually by utilizing the resources you might not know are available to you. Whether you?ve been networking for years, you?ve been out of the game a bit, or you?re just looking to get started, there?s something for everyone to add to their toolkit at this event!

Digital interviews have become the norm in our virtual world, but what does that mean for you and your job search? Whether it's a phone, video or pre-recorded interview, learn how to put your best foot forward and be your most authentic self, even through a screen. This session aims to help anyone who has struggled with virtual interviews or anyone who is worried about applying for jobs due to the virtual component of the process. Come learn the skills you need to add to your Career Toolkit!

However, when prepared to negotiate your salary, you can obtain an income that aligns with your needs and skillsets.
