We are a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization
MRAC, Muskingum Riverway Advocacy Council, is a private citizen's 501,c,3 organization formed in 2011 to monitor, preserve, protect and promote the economic, historic and recreational assets of the Muskingum River.
In 2015 MRAC obtained funding thru MWCD to remove 60 snags form Ellis Dam to Marietta. Funding was obtained for 2016 for removal of 50 more snags. MRAC volunteers are assisting ODNR in charting the depth of our river from Ellis Dam to Marietta this year.
